The email service is used for sending and receiving electronic mail messages between users possessing an email account with their own domain name or with some of the major email providers such as Google, Yahoo or some other free mail provider.


In order for a message to be sent from one user to another, the users will need to connect to a mail server no matter if they would like to send or receive email. The connection to a mail server is usually performed by an application called a mail client – piece of software usually installed on the user’s local computer and then used for sending/receiving/managing email messages.
