How to Setup Personal DNS on E-Commerce Packages

Updated on Jun 11, 2019

Each E-Commerce hosting plan comes with free and private DNS servers. The service represents a client using his own private name servers, instead of the default ones that we use on our shared hosting plans. In other words, if your domain name is:

example.com

you will be able to use the following name servers on your account:

ns1.example.com
ns2.example.com

The feature will give you a more professional look if someone attempts to review your domain and where it points to. To have your own DNS servers registered, there are two things that you need to consider first:

  • Your domain name must be registered via FastComet
  • You need to open a new ticket to our Technical Support team so they can handle the configuration for you. You can submit a new ticket via your Client Area.
